Cassidy Turley BT Commercial Expands Research Capability - Hires Garrick Brown as Northern California Research Director and Retail Research Director

Sacramento, CA – October 18, 2010 – Cassidy Turley BT Commercial has hired Garrick Brown as the firm’s Northern California Research Director as well as Retail Research Director with the firm’s retail division, Terranomics. Mr. Brown’s primary role will be to expand the focus of the firm’s overall research efforts in econometric forecasting as well as enhance its focus on retail research within Terranomics. Mr. Brown will be based in the Cassidy Turley BT Commercial/Terranomics Sacramento office.

Mr. Brown joins Cassidy Turley BT Commercial/Terranomics from Colliers International Sacramento. In his most recent duties with Colliers, Mr. Brown was the editor of the annual US report, editor of the weekly retail newswire publication, and was also responsible for tracking national retail trends. He also served on the research council where he helped guide policy and institute best practices in research. Prior, Mr. Brown worked as Director of Research for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (now Cassidy Turley) in Indianapolis. Prior, he served as a commercial real estate appraiser with Cushman & Wakefield and as a Research Analysts for Grubb & Ellis in Kansas City, Missouri.
