Jim joined Terranomics in August 2008 and is a Senior Vice President/Partner. He has been successfully providing full service representation to both tenants and developers in all aspects of retail brokerage for over 20 years. Jim specializes in helping owners and developers with the acquisition, project leasing and sales of all types of retail properties throughout Northern California. Jim also provides real estate strategy and site selection analysis for both regional and national retailers seeking new store locations also throughout Northern California. Prior to joining Terranomics, Jim was a Senior Vice President at Colliers International and had continuously finished in the top ten brokers on an annual basis.

Background & Experience
1993-1998 La Jolla Development - Leasing Manager in charge of their Northern California assets. Jim consistently achieved and surpassed department goals and was successful in maintaining the Northern California portfolio, consisting of 14 assets, to 100% occupied.
1998-2000 Burnham Pacific Properties - Real Estate Manager in charge of leasing over 15 assets throughout the greater Bay Area and quickly rose and remained to the Top Producer status.
2000-2005 GT Retail Services - Jim Teare and Jason Gallelli formed GT Retail Services and successfully managed and grew the company to one of the most dominant retail leasing companies in the region.
2005-2008 Colliers International - In late 2005, GT Retail Services was acquired by Colliers International and remained as the GT Retail Services Group. They handled over 60 Northern California properties totaling over 5 million square feet and represented over 30 regional and national retailers throughout Northern California.
