Both a research and development building in Fremont and the 13.8-acre Fremont Ford site have been sold for undisclosed prices, NAI BT reported Friday.

Drew Arvay with NAI BT Commercial San Jose brokered the investment sale of an 181,560 square-foot freestanding R&D building spanning the addresses of 48401 to 48461 Fremont Boulevard.

Arvay represented the buyer, Levy Fremont Boulevard I LLC. The seller was ESS Technology, represented by Jim Abarta and Rob Shannon with Colliers International.

Arvay, along with John King of Meridian Real Estate Services, also represented both buyer and seller in the sale of a 13.8-acre property at 39700 Balentine Drive in Newark.

The property houses Fremont Ford and is located adjacent to the Newpark Mall; a portion of it will be leased back to Fremont Ford.

Arvay and King, plus Jon Stansbury of NAI BT's retail division Terranomics have also been retained to market the excess 6.5 acres of space for lease.
