SACRAMENTO -- BT Commercial Real Estate/NAI, one of the top brokerage firms in the Bay Area, has acquired NAI Sacramento Valley Commercial (SVC), its Sacramento-based NAI affiliate. SVC, which was founded in 1997, has steadily grown since then from six brokers to 23 today. BT Commercial made the acquisition in an effort to grow its position in what is one of California's fastest growing markets, Sacramento.
"The NAI SVC transaction allows BT Commercial and Terranomics, our retail division, to expand into the expanding Sacramento marketplace and advance our goal of being the dominant brokerage firm in Northern California," states BT Commercial CEO, Michael Kamm. "NAI SVC has some very talented agents, and we are excited about their joining BT Commercial and helping us to grow our business in this important California region," said Kamm.
Jim Gray, Managing Partner, NAI Sacramento Valley Commercial points out that their firm will quickly rise from being one of the top 10 commercial real estate firms in the Sacramento market to one of the top three firms in Northern California. The company will now have the resources and chemistry of over 200 brokers and 80 staff members with specialized skills in research, marketing, information technology, mapping, finance and transaction management collaborating together to support one another.
At SVC, all of their agents and staff have decided to stay onboard as the company aligns with BT Commercial. Also, all seven stockholders of NAI Sacramento have decided to exchange shares in NAI Sacramento for partnership interests in BT Commercial, which is looking to grow steadily throughout Northern California. The company currently has offices in Burlingame, Monterey, Napa, Oakland, Palo Alto, Petaluma, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, Salinas and Soquel, and is one of the largest full-service brokerage firms in Northern California.
