SNK Realty Group, the Phoenix developer that had a smash hit with the Franklin 88 condo project in Oakland Chinatown, is scoring in Emeryville, too.
The firm had a waiting list with more than 1,000 names for the well-named Franklin 88 -- eight is a lucky number in China -- before it even opened. It sold out quickly.
The company is now more than 50 percent sold out in the 102-unit first phase of its Andante condo project in Emeryville at 40th Street and San Pablo Avenue. The units range from 622 to 1,313 square feet and start in the low $300,000's for one bedroom units and high $400,000's for two-bedroom units. The company expects the 23-unit second phase to come to market later this year.
