SAN JOSE -- The San Jose Market Center has attracted some big name tenants.

Matt Kircher of BT Commercial recently represented the buyer, Target Corp., and seller, Cousins Properties, Inc., in the sale of 435,600 square feet (10 acres) of land at the north San Jose site.

Mr. Kircher and Todd Oliver teamed up in lease transactions with tenants Petsmart (27,600 square feet); Office Depot (20,000 square feet); Cost Plus (19,000 square feet); and Michael's (23,800 square feet).

Target is to anchor the new 360,000 square foot center which is expected to open in March 2006.

The location is near downtown San Jose. It's bounded by Coleman Avenue, West Taylor Street, the Guadalupe River and a railroad line.
