Terranomics Deals Three More Tenants at The Plant in San Jose : Payless Shoe Source, Panda Express and El Pollo Loco all Opening 2008

San Jose, CA - March 25, 2008 - Sharon Carmichael , Michael Seigel , Jon Stansbury and James Chung of Terranomics Retail Services were involved in three new retail lease transactions that will bring popular tenants Payless Shoe Source, Panda Express, and El Pollo Loco to The Plant retail shopping center located at the NWC Curtner Avenue and Monterey Road in San Jose. The Plant, the City's largest power center, is owned by Westrust. Carmichael and Seigel represented both Payless Shoe Source in its 2,998 square foot lease and Panda Express in its 2,145 square foot lease, while Stansbury and Chung represented El Pollo Loco in a lease of 3,014 square feet. All three tenants are scheduled to open within the next few months.

 

Smart & Final Newest Anchor Tenant at Pleasanton Square

Pleasanton, CA - March 25, 2008 - Todd Oliver with Terranomics Retail Services has brokered the lease of 24,979 square feet of anchor space to Smart & Final at the Pleasanton Square community center located at the juncture of Interstates 680 and 580 in Pleasanton, CA. Oliver represented the Center's owner, Reynolds & Brown. Smart & Final is taking the space formerly occupied by Comp USA . The 205,000 square foot Pleasanton Square is anchored by Home Depot and Beverages & More!

 

Dress Barn to Join Transforming Alameda Towne Centre

Alameda, CA - March 25, 2008- Sharon Carmichael and Michael Seigel  with Terranomics Retail Services have represented property owner Harsch Investments  Realty, LLC in the lease of 7,514 square feet of end cap retail space at the Alameda Towne Centre located at W Park Street and Otis Drive in Alameda. The tenant is Dress Barn, Inc., which will occupy in June 2008. Alameda Towne Centre is undergoing its $80 million transformation, which will conclude in 2009. Several new anchors have already been introduced to the Centre, including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Borders, T.J. Maxx, and Old Navy. Many new food tenants, shop tenants and junior anchors have also joined this project.

 

Rue21 Opening Two New Stores in Northern and Central California

Anderson/Modesto, CA - March 25, 2008 - Ariel Fox, Madelaine Fouts and Carmen Decker with Terranomics Retail Services represented clothing retailer rue21 in two separate lease transactions located in Northern and Central California. Fox and Fouts represented rue21 at the Shasta Outlets in Anderson where rue21 leased 5,000 SF. The owner of the outlets is KLP Properties. Decker represented rue21 in the lease transaction of 4,680 square feet at the Central Valley Plaza in Modesto , owned by ICI Development Company, Inc. rue21 just recently opened at the Shasta Outlets and will soon open at Central Valley Plaza at the end of March.  

 

Famous Footwear Stepping in at Crossroads Regional Center , Riverbank

Riverbank, CA - March 25, 2008 - James Chung and Matt Kircher with Terranomics Retail Services represented owner First Riverbank, L.P. in the lease of 6,325 square feet of in-line retail space at the newly built Crossroads Regional Center located at Oakdale Road and Claribel Road in Riverbank, CA. The tenant, Brown Retail Group, Inc. dba Famous Footwear, is scheduled to occupy in September 2008. The Center is anchored by Target, Kohl's, and Home Depot.

 

Massage Envy Continues Growth with Lease at Morgan Hill Retail Power Center

Morgan Hill, CA - March 25, 2008 - Matt Kircher , Carmen Decker , James Chung and Matt Taylor with Terranomics Retail Services combined to broker the lease transaction of 3,144 square feet of in-line space at the South Bay's new Morgan Hill Retail Power Center located at Highway 101 & Cochrane Avenue in the City of Morgan Hill. Kircher and Decker brokered the deal on behalf of the Center's owner, Browman Development, and Chung and Taylor represented the tenant, Massage Envy, which is scheduled to open April 2008.

 

TheaterXtreme Bringing Home Entertainment to Roseville

Roseville, CA - March 25, 2008 - Rick Turner with Terranomics Retail Services represented tenant TheaterXtreme in the lease of 5,045 square feet of in-line retail space at The Fountains shopping center located at the SWC Roseville Parkway and Galleria Boulevard in Roseville, CA. TheaterXtreme, a home theater specialist, will open at the center June 2008.

 

Relax The Back Stretches Locations to Include Fremont

Fremont, CA - March 25, 2008 - Matt Taylor with Terranomics Retail Services represented tenant Relax The Back in the lease of 4,927 square feet of in-line space at 2690 Mowry Avenue in Fremont , CA . The property is owned by Washington Hospital . Relax the Back opened at this site, its first Fremont location, earlier this March.

 

Wachovia Bank to Locate at Bollinger and De Anza at San Jose/Cupertino Border

San Jose , CA - March 25, 2008 - Todd Oliver with Terranomics Retail Services represented tenant Wachovia Bank in a 4,000 square foot lease at Bollinger Road and De Anza Boulevard in San Jose (at the border of Cupertino ) on the former Bonsai Nursery site.  Hunter Storm is the developer on the property, which will include a Trader Joe's and Starbucks.
