Carillion Corners Signs Fresh & Easy and Tractor Supply as Anchors
Galt, CA - May 12, 2008 - Carmen Decker and Katie Walsh with Terranomics Retail Services teamed up to represent property owner Newmark Realty Capital, Inc. in two new lease transactions involving British-based Tesco's Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Mark et and Tractor Supply at the new Carillion Corners retail project located at the SWC Twin Cities Road and Carillion Boulevard in Galt, located approximately 20 miles south of Sacramento and 20 miles north of Stockton. Fresh & Easy inked a long-term ground lease of 60,000 square feet with plans for a ±14,000 square foot store to open November 2008. Tractor Supply's lease involves a build-to-suit calling for the construction of a ±21,000 square foot building plus a ±22,000 square foot outdoor area to open January 2009.
The ±66,000 square feet Carillion Corners center, situated a few blocks east from Highway 99 and a Wal-Mart, is currently under construction and is scheduled for a fourth quarter 2008 opening. Fresh & Easy and Tractor Supply will serve as anchors for the center, along with Rite-Aid.
Old Navy Underway for Sacramento 's Florin Towne Centre Summer 2008
Sacramento, CA - May 12, 2008 - Drew Greenspan and Staci Eisler Cole with Terranomics Retail Services represented Old Navy, LLC in its 17,900 square foot lease at the newly built Florin Towne Centre in Sacramento. The Towne Centre, which is a portion of the Florin Mall located on Florin Road between Stockton and 65th, is owned by Stonehenge Property Group. Old Navy is slated for its opening later this summer in August and will join Wal-Mart Supercenter and Sears as part of the Towne Centre.
Fast-Growing Snap Fitness Coming to Gilroy , One of Many New Expected Bay Area Locations
Gilroy, CA - May 12, 2008 - Katie Walsh with Terranomics Retail Services represented Wardfit, LLC dba Snap Fitness in a new lease totaling 2,962 square feet at The Piazza on Santa Teresa Boulevard near Highway 152 in Gilroy. The Piazza is a high-end mixed-use project, combining office and retail uses owned by Vanni Investments I, LLC. Snap Fitness, a privately owned and operated fitness chain based in Minnesota , is scheduled to open on the ground floor at this site June 2008. Snap Fitness is currently seeking city approval to open under its customary 24/7 hours of operation.
Walsh is currently working with Snap Fitness on several more future store locations in the Bay Area, which includes the cities of Martinez , Clayton, Pleasanton , and Mountain View.
AT&T Dials In at New MacDonald 80 Retail Center in Richmond
Richmond, CA - May 12, 2008 - The listing team of Katie Walsh, Matt Kircher , and Carmen Decker of Terranomics Retail Services represented property owner SPI Richmond Associates, L.P. in the lease of 3,600 square feet of end cap space to AT&T, represented by Jennifer Hibbitts, John Schaefer and Mark Koenig also of Terranomics, at the new Target-anchored MacDonald 80 Retail Center in Richmond. The Center is located on MacDonald Avenue and Interstate 880. AT&T will open November 2008.

rue21 Adds Seventh Location in Northern California
Yuba City , CA - May 12, 2008 - Ariel Fox with Terranomics Retail Services represented clothing retailer rue21 in a new 4,575 square foot lease at the Yuba Sutter Mall on Colusa Avenue in Yuba City . The mall's owner is Steadfast Commercial Properties. This was rue21's seventh Northern California location and eleventh statewide. A few months ago rue21 also leased space at the Shasta Outlets in Anderson (5,000 square feet), also repped by Fox, and at the Central Valley Plaza in Modesto (4,680 square feet), repped by Carmen Decker of Terranomics.
The Little Gym to Join 979 Broadway This Summer
Millbrae, CA - May 12, 2008 - James Chung and Mike Costa with Terranomics Retail Services brokered the lease of 3,710 square feet of ground floor end cap space at 979 Broadway Avenue in Millbrae on behalf of the property's owner, Simeon Commercial Properties. The tenant is The Little Gym, which specializes in fitness and health for children. The Little Gym will open mid-June and will be located at the hard corner of Broadway and Meadow Glen Avenues within the project.
24 Hour Fitness, The Perfect Day Spa, Subway, Transpacific National Bank, Red Brick Pizza, Nubi Yogurt, Keep in Touch Wireless and C2 Educate are also tenants in the property secured by Terranomics.
MoJo Burgers Adds Third Location in Silicon Valley with Pruneyard Deal

McDonald's Lovin' The Plant in San Jose
San Jose, CA - May 12, 2008 - Larry Dorsey with Terranomics Retail Services represented McDonald's Corporation in its 20-year lease of 3,752 square feet of pad space at The Plant retail shopping center located at the NWC Curtner Avenue and Monterey Road in San Jose. The Plant, the City's largest power center, is owned by Westrust. McDonald's new locale will include a drive-thru and is likely to open late 2008 to early 2009.
