Winchester Pavilion Strip Center Sold for $6.54 Million in West San Jose

San Jose, CA - November 3, 2008 - Jon Stansbury and James Gaglione with Terranomics Retail Services have brokered the investment sale of the 17,241 square foot Winchester Pavilion retail strip center located at 700-750 South Winchester Boulevard in San Jose.  The two-building property is approximately 80% leased and sold for $6,540,000 ($375 per square foot). Stansbury and Gaglione represented the seller, Winchester Pavilion, LLC. The buyer was SJ Winchester Pavilion, LLC.  Tenants of the project include Pizza Hut, Cingular Wireless, Honeybaked Ham, and H&R Block. Winchester Pavilion is situated in the western region of San Jose, across from Toys 'R Us and nearby Century Theatres, Santana Row and Westfield Valley Fair.

 

Pet Extreme, Inc. Finds Home at New Woodland Gateway Shopping Center

Woodland, CA - November 3, 2008 - Mark Koenig and John Schaefer with Terranomics Retail Services along with Ariel Fox have teamed up to represent Pet Extreme, Inc. in the new long-term lease of 18,000 square feet of end cap retail space within the Woodland Gateway Shopping Center located at Interstate 5 and County Road 102. The landlord is Woodland Development Company, LLC, who was also represented by Fox. Pet Extreme will take occupancy at their new home in spring 2009. Woodland Gateway Shopping Center is West Yolo County 's only regional power center.

 

GameStop Opening Several New Bay Area Locations This Winter

Various Cities, CA - November 3, 2008 - Sharon Carmichael and Michael Seigel with Terranomics Retail Services have represented GameStop, Inc. in several new lease transactions that are set for openings this winter season. GameStop's recently signed transactions included 2,000 square feet at the Stony Point Plaza in Santa Rosa, 1,605 square feet at Tassajara Crossing in Danville, 907 square feet at Vintner Square in Livermore, 1,120 square feet at the Linda Mar Shopping Center in Pacifica, and 1,200 square feet at Scotts Valley Junction in the city of Scotts Valley. GameStop also has a 1,500 square foot deal currently pending at Fruitvale Shopping Center in Oakland.

 

Famous Footwear Kicked Off New Store Opening at Crossroads Shopping Center

Riverbank, CA - November 3, 2008 - James Chung and Matt Kircher with Terranomics Retail Services represented property owner First Riverbank, L.P. in a new 6,325 square foot lease at the Crossroads Shopping Center to Brown Group Retail, Inc. dba Famous Footwear. The center is located at Oakdale Road and Claribel Road in Riverbank. Famous Footwear, which signed a long-term lease agreement, opened its doors to shoppers last month.

 

Dickey's BBQ Newest Eatery for Morgan Hill Shopping Center

Morgan Hill, CA - November 3, 2008 - Katie Walsh and Matt Kircher with Terranomics Retail Services represented landlord Browman Development in a new 2,600 square foot lease to C4CE, Inc. dba Dickey's BBQ at the new Target-anchored Morgan Hill Shopping Center located at the NEC Cochrane Avenue and Highway 101. Dickey's is scheduled for occupancy in Q1-2009. Recent openings taking place at the Center have included DSW and Circuit City (The City).

 

Carl's Jr Grills Up Ground Lease in Woodland for Drive-Thru Restaurant

Colma, CA - November 3, 2008 - Blair Wheatley and James Teare, SCLS with Terranomics Retail Services represented Carl's Jr. in the ground lease of 27,225 square feet at 1556 Main Street in Woodland. Carl's Jr. will construct a 3,300 square foot drive-thru restaurant on the site. The owner of the property is True North Properties. They are due to start construction November 1st.

 

Massage Envy Coming to The Pruneyard Soon

Campbell, CA - November 3, 2008 - James Chung and Matt Taylor with Terranomics Retail Services have represented Massage Envy in a new long-term lease of 3,000 square feet at The Pruneyard in Campbell. Located at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Bascom Avenue, The Pruneyard is owned by Equity Office Properties. Massage Envy has opened several new locations in the past few years throughout the Bay Area.

 

Snap Fitness Continues on Pace for Several New Bay Area Locations

Clayton, CA - November 3, 2008 - Katie Walsh with Terranomics Retail Services represented SL Ventures, Inc. dba Snap Fitness in a new 2,445 square foot lease at the Village Oaks shopping center located at 6200 Center Street in Clayton. The owner is Village Oaks, LLC. Snap Fitness, a privately owned and operated fitness chain based in Minnesota, will be open to members at this location beginning later this year.  

Walsh is currently working with Snap Fitness on several more future store locations in the Bay Area, which includes the cities of Fremont, Martinez, Pleasanton, and Mountain View.

 

Maly's West Headed for Colma's 280 Metro Mall

Colma, CA - November 3, 2008 - Katie Walsh with Terranomics Retail Services represented Maly's West, Inc. in the lease of 2,340 square feet of in-line space at the 280 Metro Mall community center located at the NEC Junipero Serra Boulevard and Colma Boulevard in the city of Colma. 280 Metro is owned by Kimco Realty Corporation. Maly's West is scheduled for occupancy in spring 2009. Maly's has been a successful salon products distributor for over 40 years and provides products and services to over 30,000 salons in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, and Washington.
