Chevy's Restaurant to Locate at San Jose Mark etCenter Main Entrance

San Jose, CA – July 27, 2007 – Todd Oliver with Terranomics Retail Services represented Cousins Properties in the lease of a 7,500 square foot restaurant building located within the San Jose MarketCenter located at Coleman and Taylor, just outside of downtown San Jose.  The tenant, Chevy's Restaurant, plans to open its new location in a free standing building at the main entrance to the center in front of Target.

Chevy's will join a long and popular list of retailers already in the MarketCenter, including Target, Michael's, Petco, Office Depot, Marshall's, and eateries to include Chili's, Panera Bread, Carl's Jr., El Pollo Loco, Wing Stop, Sweet Tomatoes, and Red Brick Pizza.

Retail Portion of Civic Park in Cupertino Sold

Cupertino, CA – July 27, 2007 – Todd Oliver and Mike Costa with Terranomics Retail Services along with Gary Hansen , Tenny Tsai and Allison Koo of NAI BT Commercial San Jose joined forces to broker the investment sale of a new 19,300 square foot retail site in Cupertino, CA.  Oliver, Costa and Hansen represented the seller, Heartthstone, Inc., with Tsai and Koo representing the buyer, Civic Park Cupertino, LLC. The retail property sold for an undisclosed price. The retail site is part of a brand new mixed-use project known as Civic Park that includes 80 condo and townhome units which were not part of the transaction. The new owner is now actively seeking retail tenants for the project.

Banana Republic to Open Store in Brentwood

Brentwood, CA – July 27, 2007 – Staci Eisler Cole and Drew Greenspan with Terranomics Retail Services represented Banana Republic in the lease of 6,000 square feet of end cap retail space located cat Shady Willow and Sand Creek Roads in Brentwood , CA . The Landlord is Continental Real Estate. Banana Republic, a modern clothier retailer that also sells shoes, handbags and other accessories, will occupy the space August 2007.

Gen-X Clothing Brings Urban Style to California 's Capital City

Sacramento , CA – July 27, 2007 –Ariel Fox with Terranomics Retail Services represented Gen-X Clothing Corporation in the lease of 10,000 square feet of in-line retail space located in the Stockridge Plaza in Sacramento . The landlord is ML Commercial Properties, Inc. Gen X is a clothing and accessory store featuring some of today's most popular urban name brands. In Northern California, this will be the fourth Gen-X store location, and the second store opening in the last three months; Gen-X had opened in South San Jose May of 2007, a deal also brokered by Fox.

Cycle Gear Accelerates Growth with South Valley Plaza Locale

Gilroy, CA – July 27, 2007 – Jon Stansbury , James Gaglione and Drew Greenspan with Terranomics Retail Services teamed up to broker both parties in the lease of a 4,853 square foot freestanding retail building located within the South Valley Plaza shopping center in Gilroy, CA. Stansbury and Gaglione represented the landlord, West Valley Properties, and Greenspan represented the tenant, Cycle Gear, Inc., America 's largest and fastest growing retailer of motorcycle parts, apparel and accessories. South Valley Plaza is located on Chestnut Street , on the other side of Hwy 101 from Gilroy Crossings. Cycle Gear's lease will commence August 1, 2007. 

LA Boxing Steps into Ring at Lone Tree Towne Plaza in Brentwood

Brentwood, CA – July 27, 2007 –Mike Bassett with Terranomics Retail Services represented LA Boxing in the lease of 4,000 square feet of end cap retail space at the Lone Tree Towne Plaza in Brentwood, CA. LA Boxing is the largest boxing and kickboxing franchise chain in the US. The landlord is Lone Tree Brentwood, LLC.

The Children's Place among New Tenants at Alameda Towne Centre as Re-Tenanting Continues

Alameda , CA – July 27, 2007 – Sharon Carmichael and Michael Seigel with Terranomics Retail Services represented owner Harsch Investment Realty, LLC in the two new lease transactions at the new Alameda Towne Centre in Alameda . The new tenants include The Children's Place Retail Stores, which was represented by Matt Taylor of Terranomics, and Towne Cleaners and Alterations, represented by Carmichael and Seigel. The Children's Place occupied 5,760 square feet of in-line space earlier this summer and Towne Cleaners will take their tenancy on 837 square feet later this summer.  

The 580,000 square-foot Alameda Towne Centre is currently underway with a complete renovation and expansion, headed by architect Field Paoli, to create a World-Class Lifestyle Center featuring new upscale retailers and eateries offering dining al-fresco with views of the San Francisco Bay . Alameda Towne Center is in the process of adding over 30 exciting new stores.

Chipotle among First Tenants at Madrone Village in Morgan Hill

Morgan Hill, CA – July 27, 2007 – Sharon Carmichael and Michael Seigel with Terranomics Retail Services represented Chipotle Mexican Grill in the lease of 2,830 square feet of end cap retail space within Morgan Hill's new Madrone Village shopping center located at Highway 101 and Cochrane Rd. The landlord is Madrone Village Shopping Center , LLC. As part of the project's first phase, Chipotle will open November 2007.
