The buyer was BEC, Inc. and the seller was Cathy Gamlen. The property sold for $1,135,000, which amounted to $74.45 per square foot. The site formerly housed a Chevron gas station, which has been completely removed. In the first transaction, Oliver represented Sleep Train in the lease of 4,337 square feet of end cap retail space at The Plant in San Jose , which is located at the NWC Curtner Ave. and Monterey Hwy. The developer of the largest power center in San Jose is Westrust. Sleep Train will be opening in early 2008.
In the second transaction, Oliver represented The Sleep Train in the lease of 4,450 square feet of retail space at Bascom Square located at the corner of Bascom Ave. and Hamilton Ave. in San Jose., Sleep Train is leasing a portion of the former Blockbuster Video space along with Wachovia Bank.
