Gen X Clothing Opens New Store at San Jose’s White Road Plaza
San Jose, CA December 14, 2006 Ariel Fox with Terranomics Retail Services and Chris Monson of NAI Utah represented Gen X Clothing (Tenant) in the new lease of 9,500 square feet of in-line retail space at White Road Plaza in the City of San Jose’s southern region. The Landlord is White Road Partners, LLC. Gen X is a clothing and accessory store featuring some of today’s most popular urban name brands. This will be the third Gen X store location in Northern California.
Starbucks Inks Three New Deals in East Bay
East Bay , CA December 14, 2006 Jessica Perry and Staci Eisler Cole with Terranomics Retail Services teamed represented Starbucks in three new retail lease transactions at various locations in the East Bay region. The first transaction from the world’s leading coffee retailer was a 1,500 square-foot lease at Broadway and Grand in Oakland from Signature Properties, Inc. (Owner). The second transaction was a 2,500 square-foot lease at City Walk located at Jefferson and 14th also in the City of Oakland from The Olson Company (Owner). The third transaction was for 1,658 square feet at Sunset Plaza at Brentwood and Nancy in the City of Brentwood. All three transactions were for a term of 10 years.
Amber India Restaurant Adds Location in San Francisco
San Francisco, CA December 14, 2006 Rhonda Diaz with Terranomics Retail Services represented Amber India in the lease of 4,731 square feet of restaurant space on Yerba Buena Lane at the foot of the Four Seasons Hotel, in San Francisco. The Landlord is Millenium Properties. Amber India serves contemporary and traditional Indian cuisine headed by award-winning Chef Vittal Shetty. Amber India has earned the reputation for the best Indian cuisine in the Bay Area, with 11 consistent years in the SF Chronicle’s top 100 retaurants. Other locations are in Mountain View and in San Jose’s Santana Row.
Longs Drugs to Anchor New Rose Center in Benicia
Benecia, CA December 14, 2006 John Schaefer and Mark Koenig with Terranomics Retail Services brokered two lease transactions on behalf of Dirk Fulton, Owner of the Rose Center in Benicia. The first transaction came from anchor Longs Drug Stores, which signed a ground lease and will construct a prototypical store of approximately 15,000 square feet within the center. The second lease was for 1,600 square feet of in-line space from Fresh Cleaners. Rose Center is a new 33,000 square-foot retail shopping center located at SWC of Rose Drive & Columbus Pkwy.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ Spreads Delicious Multi-Cultural Cuisine
Hayward/Manteca, CA December 14, 2006 Drew Greenspan with Terranomics Retail Services represented Ono Hawaiian BBQ in two new lease transactions in Hayward and Manteca. The Hawaiian-style restaurant chain inked a 1,800 square-foot deal at Browman Development’s Skywest Commons located at NWC Hesperian & W. A St. in Hayward and another 1,800 square-foot transaction at Kitchell Development’s Stadium Center at Hwy 120 & Airport Way in Manteca. Ono Hawaiian BBQ has several locations throughout Northern California, Southern California and Arizona.
Wireless Stores Plugs In at Lathrop Marketplace
Lathrop, CA December 14, 2006 Carmen Decker and Matt Kircher with Terranomics Retail Services brokered the lease of 1,260 square feet of in-line retail space at Lathrop Marketplace, an 880,000 square-foot planned community located at SWC River Islands Pkwy & I-5 in Lathrop. Decker and Kircher represented the Owner, Watt Genton Associates, which leased the space to Wireless Stores. Lathrop Marketplace is well-positioned as the retail “hub” of the growing City of Lathrop. Phase I is scheduled for a fall 2007 opening and Phase II is scheduled for a summer 2008 opening.
AutoZone Parks at new Boronda Square in Salinas
Salinas, CA December 14, 2006 Jon Stansbury and James Gaglione with Terranomics Retail Services represented AutoZone (Tenant) in the lease of 7,381 square feet of end cap retail space at the new Boronda Square retail center located at SWC Boronda Dr. and Sanborn Rd. in Salinas. Boronda Square is a new +/- 69,000 retail center that is currently under construction and is scheduled for delivery summer 2007. AutoZone currently has three other Salinas locations.
